Wondering how the beautiful raccoons you see in the forest turn into the fur vest hanging in INTERMIX’s storefront window? Above is a series of photos (more here) that will give you some idea. (trap. catch. drown. skin. repeat.)
Angry? Heartbroken? Me too.
Put those feelings into action by signing our INTERMIX: Please Go Fur Free petition here. And if you already have (thank you!!), please pass it on!

Fuming.
Now, I’m really not one to preach petitions or be an outright activist in anything, but I really want to put this out there to my followers.
I saw this and my heart sank with disgust, distress and heartbroken rage.
It might not feel like you’re doing much by signing your name, but in the long run it might make the smallest nudge to help something be better.

TRIGGER WARNING: Rape
—-
See: click through link.
Here you have it, folks. The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board has it all backwards in one of the most insensitive, rude and generally fucked up ways. It’s outrageous.
Dear followers, I ask that you take a look at this, sign this, and reblog the shit out of it.
It isn’t right to blame the victim for something that is out of their control, when they’re being forced into consent by the rapist.
I don’t even have to mention that this is a dangerous thing to be put into the world for people without knowledge about rape to see: what if its their first exposure to it, and they suddenly think that rape would not be their fault if they’re committing it? I can’t even put my thoughts into words right now, because this is such a sensitive topic.
It’s such a poor mentality. I can’t even. Just read it for yourself.
“Being drunk does not get you raped. Being sober does not protect you from being raped. Being around a rapist will get you raped.”

Tell the members of the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board: Rape is no one’s fault but the rapist’s. Demand that they end their offensive “Call the Shots” campaign immediately and publicly commit to correct the misinformation they have spread about who is to blame for rape.
